WOOD SCULPTURE 3.0

Ambrosia wood plank with live edge, brushed steel square tubing. This wood sculpture is a salvage piece of wood with a live edge running along the side and top. It is supported by a hand brushed steel tube frame behind. The idea was to bring new life to the wood and evoke people to want to approach and touch the sculpture due to its carved negative voids and unique beautiful colors and pattern in the grain.

CÁFE RACER - VÍMARA
2017

Rebuilt and redesign 1977 Yamaha XS-750 E and revisioned it into an off road cáfe racer, with excess weight shedded off, bigger carbs and cut straight pipes. Minimalism was key in this project, majority of the electrical and the battery are all hidden, the clean body and seat helped complete the overall look.

WOOD SCULPTURE 2.0

The wood was hand cut and whittled down before being sanded finished. The idea I saw within the wood piece came in the form of a cup pouring out a liquid. A small study on materialism. Birch wood and dark walnut wood base.

This idea plays on wood's natural properties and presets them in different perspective and manner. The vine's natural bends and turns act as the flow of paint. Vine branch and dark walnut wood base.
